Xela Pack was at HBA Global Expo showing its ‘Xela Pack,’ which is the supplier’s invention, and an environmentally conscious package that can be used for a sample size or trial package.

These stand-up pouches are also perfect for selling individually – or, packaged as a set – to offer consumers a travel-friendly option.

Among the supplier’s many health, beauty and personal care customers are Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day and ‘BROO’ body and haircare.

This packages’ paper portion can be constructed using 100% post-consumer recycled paper. The package uses 93% less plastic than a similar sized plastic bottle or tube – and, takes up approximately 20% less space. This translates into a reduction in cardboard, shrinkwrap, pallets, and fuel.

Another benefit is that the ‘Xela Pack’ allows for full dispersal of the product, leaving behind approximately 1% of the product after use. Plastic bottles will often leave 20-30% leftover product, the company says.
